Dr. Katherine Yau Wong
Dr. Yau received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, where she majored in Biology and minored in Asian and Asian American Studies. She was the recipient of the Mark S. Newman Scholarship, a full ride to Binghamton University. She earned her Doctorate from The SUNY College of Optometry in New York, where she had extensive training in the diagnosis and management of ocular pathology including glaucoma, cataracts, corneal and retinal disease, as well as the fitting of soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Dr. Yau gained additional clinical expertise in ocular disease at Woodhull Medical Center and the East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center, both in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Yau is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Spanish. She is dedicated to providing compassionate comprehensive care of patients' ocular and visual needs using state-of-the-art technology.
